The Artist

Kyle Michael Rohane was born February 21, 1987 in Amarillo, Texas. He received a B.S. in Psychology at Texas Christian University and currently attends Denver Seminary and is working on his M.A. in Theology.

In his pastime, Kyle finds great joy in the creative process, attempting many forms of artistic medium including (but not limited to) oil paint, graphite, charcoal, photography, and digital. During his time at TCU, he minored in studio art, and much of his favorite work stems from the classes that he took in college. He has a special fascination with the human form and portraiture in particular (possibly a byproduct of his interest in psychology). He believes that only the most talented and focused artists can truly capture the intimacy and personality embedded in the fine details of the human face (a talent that he does not believe he has mastered in its elegant complexity).

Kyle believes that his work is only made possible through the divine revelation that God provides, and his work is only a weak shadow of the incredible images that God produces in nature, the human figure, and the minds of His creatures. Likewise, Kyle believes his work is strongly influenced by the amazing talents of his friends and the support of his family.

The future of Kyle's art is uncertain at the moment since he is currently pursuing his passion of Theology. However, art is an essential and integral part of Kyle's life, and he believes that he will keep creating art as long as he lives or he will go crazy.
